On Tuesday October 27 1908 between 2 and 4 pm a land transfer is described for a farm in the First election district of Caroline County Maryland. The route begins at a stone on the west side of the Melville to Beartown road and details a chain of compass directions and distances ending at the county road. The property totals about 86 14 acres and was conveyed to Joseph F Swartz by Harry D Ritchey and wife in a deed dated January 19 1904.
