Sale of Mortgaged Property in Denton Maryland

Assignee will sell the mortgaged property at public sale in front of the courthouse door in Denton Maryland. The sale is conducted under the power of sale in a mortgage dated January 1 1894 from Joseph F Swartz and wife to Oscar Clark and recorded in Liber C W HL No 7 folio 380. Assignments to Levin W Williams Sally A Williams administratrix Henry B Lewis and others are recorded at the mortgage’s foot.

Land description and transfer by deed in Caroline County Maryland

On Tuesday October 27 1908 between 2 and 4 pm a land transfer is described for a farm in the First election district of Caroline County Maryland. The route begins at a stone on the west side of the Melville to Beartown road and details a chain of compass directions and distances ending at the county road. The property totals about 86 14 acres and was conveyed to Joseph F Swartz by Harry D Ritchey and wife in a deed dated January 19 1904. The improvements are noted but not completed in the record excerpt.

Democratic Campaign Contributions Record in Maryland

Blair Lee, treasurer of the Committee of One Hundred, urges all Maryland Democrats to contribute to the party with funds to be publicly recorded in county circuit court clerks offices. The 1951 statute requires donors to use real names, bans corporate gifts, and imposes fines and disqualification for misrepresentation.
