Railbirds abound on Choptank and Tuckahoe marshes
In Caroline county hunters report plentiful railbirds and partridges, with floods of birds fattened by frost. A early Monday tide yielded good shooting, including 95 birds killed by H A Roe in about two hours. New game laws restrict killing partridges until November 15 and limit other hunters till December 25, likely extending the season. The county hosts a game association led by Henry R.
