Talbot County Field Day and 1954 Farm Census Notice
Talbot County Field Day will be held at Willis Farms near Trappe on Saturday October 9 from 10 a m to noon featuring corn hybrid plots, soybean variety demonstrations and forage tests with experts from the University of Maryland. A 1954 Farm Census is announced, detailing its purpose, scope, confidentiality, and the need for farmers to complete questionnaires. census takers will visit all farms to collect data on land, crops, livestock, machinery, income and facilities.
