Two Kent County estates totaling 755 acres were sold to prominent New Yorkers by Chestertown realtors. The Buck Neck Landing estate of 855 acres on Worton Creek was sold to Downer Burrer, a noted yachtman, who will build a home overlooking Worton Creek seven miles from Chestertown. The 100 acre Chesterville estate near Chesterville, owned by Dr. Elmer Sterling of Church Hill, was sold to C. A. Lewis of New York City. Purchase prices were kept private.
