More Gasoline For Farmers Soon

Immediate relief for Maryland farmers from the gasoline famine is being rushed through several mediums. Rationing boards will review all B, C and T rations to cut allowances to the minimum, freeing more gasoline for farm tractors, farm trucks and milk carriers. Gasoline quotas for transportation agencies have been reduced by forty percent to divert supply to nonhighway farm uses. County War Boards are urged to emphasize farm cooperation and to request additional T rations only when necessary, reviewed by County Farm Transportation Committees. Leo H. McCormick ordered filling stations to honor one coupon on A, B and C holders if tanks are less than one quarter full.
