Cambridge High School defeats Federalsburg in regional baseball
Federalsburg High School’s baseball team was eliminated from Eastern Shore title contention at Hurlock as Cambridge High School, last season’s state champion, won 13 to 4. Croll’s pitching held Federalsburg to three runs through six innings before costly seventh inning errors widened the gap. Keene pitched well for Cambridge, limiting Federalsburg’s offense after the sixth. The report also notes ongoing strawberry picking season and local community happenings in Federalsburg including illnesses, visits, and school events.
