Hog Buyer Bill Reneker a Swift leader and judge
If you have marketed hogs since 1907 chances are that Bill Reneker bought some of them for Swift and Company. He bought more than 30 million hogs in Western Canada from 1916 to 1923 and the rest in the U. S. A. He became head hog buyer for Swift & Company in 1932 and, when not buying hogs, enjoys judging in the show ring. His father was a livestock salesman and his grandfather ran a Pittsburg commission business since 1866. His hobby is sharing his vast hog knowledge with farm youth.
