At the annual meeting in Baltimore Gen. John M. Dension was chosen as director replacing John S. Gittings who resigns to travel to Europe. Officers were re-elected including secretary Gittings. Attendees included Hon. John F. Saulsbury Lieut Gov Philip L Cannon and Dr H R Burton. W H Bosley remains resident. H L Hope assists to the president and Robert W. Smith is treasurer.
In Annapolis the Maryland Hotel owners plan a new $60,000 hotel named the Hotel Admiral between the Naval Academy gate and the State House opposite the Chase and Harwood mansions. Ex-Governor Jackson reportedly backs the project as officials consider larger accommodations for federal works.
Executors announce public sale of the Cade Farm in Caroline County Maryland on Tuesday June 4 1904 from 2 to 4 PM in front of the Denton Court House The 105 acre tract lies near Denton within reach of canning factories rail and steamship lines with a two story frame dwelling barn and outbuildings The sale reports 3980 dollars and is subject to tenant rights with wheat reserved The order to ratify requires notice in a local newspaper three weeks before June 17 1901
