Alonzo Bridegroom 63 of Grove, a Phillips Packing Company mechanic in Cambridge, disappeared while fishing in the Choptank River near Williston Monday afternoon. His boat and net were found across the river at Lyford on the Day estate. Officials presume drowning as Denton Fire Company and state police search, aided by fog delays. Bridegroom leaves wife Lida son Elwood and three grandchildren.
