Jerusalem chamber tales at Westminster Abbey as 1611 and 1884 Bible revisions linked

An old Jericho parlor leads to the celebrated Jerusalem chamber at Westminster Abbey. The room, built 1386 by Abbot Litlington, housed the 1611 and 1884 Bible revisions, and served as a withdrawing room for abbey guests. It later hosted the funeral of Henry IV and the bodies of Addison and Newton were carried from it. A companion piece describes English artist R Talbot Kelly's desert visit with Bedouins, their hospitality, and nomadic life.
