Ants May Be Controlled With Several Effective Poisons
Dr. E N Cory Maryland State Entomologist describes practical ant control methods. A poison ball with water sugar and arsenate of soda is prepared and fed to workers to reach the nest and queen. If red ants resist, a thallium sulfate mix is suggested. Ham rind with fat may attract large black ants. Sodium fluoride dusting and carbon bisulphide fumigation of outdoor nests are noted. Handle poisons carefully and weigh exact amounts. Great men are those who see that spiritual is stronger than any material force.
