Ridgely might note Miss Shirley Smith and Miss June Lynch joined the Memorial Hospital graduating class in Easton with commencement at the County Building on May 29. Sgt. Marion Redden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson Redden, has been promoted to Aviation Sergeant after boat training at Parris Island and service in the Marshall Islands, now at Jacksonville Naval Air Station. The Milford High School and Ridgely graduates, family visits, and memorials for Pfe. Russell Crouse are also recorded along with local social and wartime correspondence across Ridgely and nearby towns through early June.

May Meeting of Caroline Public Health Board In Greensboro
The Caroline Public Health Board held its May session at the Greensboro health center with reps from Greensboro and Denton. Capt Frances Buck of the Government Health Department attended as a guest and offered congratulations. March and April nurse reports were read, showing well-managed county health work. A state-acquired incubator, second in the county, was displayed. Miss Kitty Simpson, three-year county resident, will move to Anne Arundel County Maryland, with a six-week Chicago course beforehand. Refreshments followed the business, and the September meeting is planned.
