Mrs Etta Hill 76 died at her Greensboro home after a two week illness from paralysis. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 pm at Rawlings Funeral Home with Rev C E Davis of St Pauls Methodist Church presiding. Burial followed in Greensboro Cemetery. Survived by husband John H Hill daughter Celeste Rouse two grandsons and one great grandson.

Senators Barkley McMahon Brewster and Owen Brewster show serious interest while others like Gavin Green Barrett McGlinchey Granahan Fenton Wolfenden Wasielewski weigh in. Dudley Roe remains non committal. Delaware Senator Tunnell says he is unaware the tax is universally condemned by public opinion.
