Washington College to Register Students in February
Washington College announces mid year freshman admissions in February to accommodate three classes from city high schools transfers and those previously unable to attend due to finances. The plan could let some students graduate in three and a half years as courses are rearranged. A $1500 gift from Mrs. Frank Madison Dick funds a reading room in Reid Hall to honor Elihu Cullen Dick with a dedication on February 22, Washington's Birthday, drawing D A R members from the Eastern Shore and beyond.

The Caroline County Farm Bureau will hold its annual banquet at the Concord Community House on Thursday January 25 at 6 30 p m. A program organized by president Harry H Nuttle secretary treasurer Harry E Holsinger and County Agent William H Eyjans includes talks by Miles H Fairbank Baltimore secretary of the Maryland State Farm Bureau Federation and Dr T B Symons director of the University of Maryland Extension Service.
