Representative Goldsborough announced continued efforts for river and harbor projects on the Eastern Shore. Dredging to open the Pocomoke River to navigation near Snow Hill with 151000 available will start once rights of way are provided. Plans include Crisfield improvements, a Great Chaptank to Little Chaptank waterway, Tangier Sound access, and Deals Island thoroughfare upgrades. Progress on the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal shows 8637000 in funds, 4923000 spent, with completion expected within a year.
