The tract known as Mills Hope Gambrill Lot sits between Smithson and Harmony on Hog Creek Mill Branch, about 20 acres cleared, pine timber rest, with a wooden outbuildings. Bidder pays one third cash at sale and balance in six months secured by note.
The Mill Property under a 1905 mortgage by Hulda R. Sewell and William T. Sewell to William J. Neal, assigned to Harvey L. Cooper in 1917, offers at public sale in Denton Maryland. The parcel lies in the Sixth Election District, on the south side of the Denton Bridge to Denton Cemetery road, 75 feet frontage by 86 feet depth, previously described in deeds and recorded in Caroline County land records. The improvements consist of a building on this lot once owned by James H. Nichols’s store property.
