Law enforcement funds blocked by party leaders
The piece argues Republicans blocked the $24,000,000 enforcement appropriation, blaming it on cowardice or insincerity, while Hoovers’ future plans and a commission require funds to enforce the prohibition law. It cites earlier promises by party leaders and predicts years of continued violations without proper enforcement. It also notes fire prevention education’s value and Damro表达sch concert outreach nationwide.
Diligence and Freedom Quotes in Brief Prose
A compact collection of aphorisms: Franklin on diligence and luck, urging work today. Aeschylus on freedom from evil thoughts as a divine gift. The pieces pair motivational reminders with classical wisdom.
