In loving remembrance of Mrs Fannie Hollis

In loving remembrance of my beloved wife and mother Mrs Fannie Hollis who departed this life one month ago to day February thirteenth eighteen hundred and three. No fears of death did she betray but with a radiant face gave up to all things here below and was locked in Christ's embrace. Through all her pain at times she smiled a smile of heavenly birth and when the angels called her home she smiled farewell to earth. Why should our tears in sorrow flow when God recalls his own and bids her leave a world of woe for an immortal home. Her tools are practical her work is done she has fought the fight the victory won and entered into rest. Husband and children.

After spawning, shad return is rare and unfit to eat. There are two proper preparations for shad broil or plank, with planked shad essentially broiled.
