The Caroline High School Minstrel Show promises a bigger, better and funnier program with rhythm, music and new jokes. The event is Friday, February 18, at 8:00 p.m. in the school auditorium, with admission 15 cents for children and 30 cents for adults.
The Hon. D Leigh Colvin of New York will speak at a joint union service at Denton Methodist Protestant Church Sunday evening February 13 at 7 30 p m Congregations of the Church of the Brethren the Methodist Episcopal and the Methodist Protestant churches join to hear Dr Colvin and officials expect visitors from other towns and churches to attend.

Steps cover mixing dry ingredients cutting fat into flour making a soft dough layering apples and batter, then steaming two hours.
The Denton Journal announces a free Cooking School course starting Wednesday February 23 through February 25 at The Dentonia Theatre. The event blends film with home economics teaching, featuring expert kitchens, close-ups of recipes, labor-saving tips, and daily recipe sheets.
