Elias W. Nuttle of Nuttle Lumber & Coal Co. urges Denton home owners to repair and remodel to create jobs. He cites lower construction costs, 13 percent below last year and 25 to 35 percent below five years ago, with material prices down 13 percent in a year and 25 to 35 percent since 1925. He warns spring labor may tighten and that fixing up now is a sound investment, potentially raising a home’s value as conditions improve.

Sunday School begins at 10 00 a m and preaching at 7 30 p m. Daniel Cole is home with a severe cold.
