Colonels Hodson claims fraud in Maryland election
The Republican committee in Baltimore heard Col Thos S Hodson allege wholesale fraud and bribery in Somerset and irregularities in Queen Annes counties. The Record says no irregularities affected the vote and denies the accusation as unfounded and false for this county. The Republicans were defeated in the last election, and Hodson would face a harsher reception if he repeats the charge.
