Wilson not a minority President after all
Editorial notes that while Wilson will not have a majority over all rivals in the popular vote, he would be a plurality president, a distinction shared by past leaders. It argues against the term minority president and cites Roosevelt Taft Debs and Chafin tallies, plus historical precedents, while touching on cost of living ideas and Maryland political moves surrounding Wilson’s inauguration and related appointments.
