Kent Island Plans Entertainment Carnival Week Schedule
The Kent Island Carnival opens Monday August 29 in Stevensville with six nights of entertainment for Kent Islanders and surrounding counties. Highlights include Comic and Firemen parades, Beauty Contest, a Talent Show with a $50 purse on August 30, and fireworks. New Reserve Army Units Form For Eastern Shore
Maryland Military District in Baltimore announces reserve units will be created for the Easton Cambridge Denton area. Colonel Arthur L.
