In Memoriam for William N Satterfield

In sad but loving remembrance of my dear husband William N Satterfield who departed this life two years ago August 26 1926 Dear Billy you have left us and your willing hands now rest Days of sadness still come over us Hidden tears still often flow His busy hands are folded His work on earth is done I often sit and think of him When I am all alone In the graveyard softly sleeping where the flowers gently wave Lies the one we loved so dearly Whom we tried but could not save A happy home we once enjoyed How sweet the memory still But death has left a vacant chair This world can never fill Sadly missed by his loving wife EMMA
