Gorman Emerges as Leading Democratic Presidential Hope
Editorial notes endorse Senator Gorman as the fair minded favorite for the Democratic nomination, citing his Senate leadership, force bill service, party work, and strong Eastern support within a broad national appeal. Roosevelt presses for a robust Christian virtue, Bryan honors a friend with a poignant grave sermon, and market turmoil heights partisan debate as Warfield edges toward Maryland governorship.
