Twenty Five Years Ago In Dorchester Weather Disasters
Twenty five years ago this week reports tell of a dwelling of Me Gay Trice in Dorchester struck by lightning and burned, two children badly stunned. A barn on Draper and Slaughter’s farm near New Bridge destroyed with hay and livestock saved. Numerous local residents and former residents listed with travels to camps, ships, and overseas postings. A local death, two long lists of neighbors visiting relatives, and community notes fill the column as the era’s events unfold.
