Protecting Game Law For Spring Dog Owners
The article warns dog owners that a spring and summer hunting season law makes letting dogs roam a misdemeanor. Fines range from one to five dollars per offense, plus costs, and possible thirty days in jail. An owner may train dogs from Sept 1 to Nov 9 if accompanied but cannot carry a gun. Harboring or permitting a dog on premises makes the person the owner for enforcement.
