The Band Wagon, Broadway’s acclaimed musical revue, arrives for six nights from April 25 at Ford's Theatre Baltimore with Broadway stars led by Fred Astaire and Yelen Broderick. Tickets went on sale April 18 with prices from 1.00 to 3.00 for matinees and 1.50 to 3.00 for evening shows, lower than New York.

The fifth Maryland Poultry Field Day will gather at College Park and Beltsville on Thursday June 9. Activities start with meetings in the College auditorium featuring nationally known speakers, followed by luncheon on campus. The group will tour the government poultry farm at Beltsville to view experiments and equipment under Dr M A Jull of the U S Department of Agriculture. Piney M P Church hosts a Denton Community House supper Friday April 29 at 5 o'clock priced 35 cents per plate.

State Federation To Meet In Baltimore Tuesday
More than a thousand women from fall parts of the state are expected to attend the thirty third annual convention of the Maryland Federation of Women's Clubs April 26 to 28 at the Lord Baltimore Hotel Baltimore. Mrs John L Whitehurst will preside at all sessions. The Russian dinner on April 26 will feature talks on old and new Russia and a talk by Madame Pierre Ponafidine and American engineer William H Grady who will discuss their Soviet Russia experiences. A concert and chorus contest will follow with a chorus of 1000 voices and soloists.
