Proposals for a section of State Aid highway in Caroline county addressed to the County Commissioners of Caroline county are invited for reception by 2 PM on May 9. Plans and contract forms available from the State Roads Commission in Baltimore. Bids must include a signed proposal, a $200 certified check, and may be rejected at any time.

Billy Sunday tabernacle in Baltimore reports 1,089 trail hitters on Palm Sunday, with 828 more in the evening and a total attendance of 54,000 at the building. The day set a city record for the revival, with 3,000 turned away and 22,000 accommodated in the evening service. Sunday preached on salvation and judgment, urging church cooperation and denouncing lukewarm members.
