Filter Pads Help Track Down Causes of Sediment
The pad indicates milk cleanliness by showing sediment presence. After straining a can of milk, remove the pad, dry it, and examine it on a clean surface to spot foreign matter that reveals cleanliness or contamination in dairy processing.
County Agent Highlights Dairy Hygiene and Testing
The County Agent urges clean milking practices to reduce sediment in milk and boost checks. Regular filter pad exams aid in producing clean milk, while production testing helps dairymen cut guessing and raise dairy profits. The D H I A plans an April 22 meeting at First Methodist Church, Denton, with Fried chicken on the menu and J R Schabinger as main speaker discussing D H I A facts.
