Salisbury Plans Gordy Day Rally for April 23

Shore to host first Eastern Shore Olympiad May 14

For the first time the Eastern Shore will stage its own track and field Olympiad on May 14 at Salisbury State Teachers College. Eight counties Kent Queen Annes Talbot Caroline Dorchester Wicomico Somerset and Worcester will send boy and girl champions to compete, with Cecil County winners going to the Baltimore Olympiad as in past years. Jurisdiction over shore meets has moved from Playground Athletic League to the State Department of Education.

Women’s Committee Plans Spring Meeting in Ridgely
