The 40th annual convention of the Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias ended in Deming on Thursday night. George L. Bradford of Dawson New Mexico was elected supreme representative, defeating Hugh H. Williams. Albuquerque will host next meeting unless a referendum selects another city. J W Chapman of Gallup gave the principal address urging K of P involvement in civic affairs. The new grand lodge officers include James H Deam Clayton grand chancellor and others from Deming Albuquerque Santa Fe Raton Magdalena Roswell and more. The Grand Temple Pythian Sisters also closed with delegates from 16 of 21 temples. outgoing grand chief Sadie Snyter of Clayton received a gold vanity cage.
