Sam T. Clark reports enthusiastic progress on New Mexico's building for the San Diego Exposition of 1915. Rapp & Rapp designs modeled on the Acoma church feature a roof garden and towers, with moving pictures to promote resources. Orchard and Alfalfa Farms Company forms in Mimbres valley

Fred Sherman and Lew O Lester organize the Orchard and Alfalfa Farms Company to develop 4000 acres near Deming. The plan sells 40 acre tracts to settlers with built wells irrigation instruction and land development guidance. The new tract lies near the corporate limits with Borderland route and existing telephony and electric services.

Remarkable Raspberry Bushes Report by County Official

County Commissioner Chas. L. Hubbard notes red raspberry bushes reaching 72 inches this year on his farm south of the city. He adds the year isn’t favorable for raspberries but observes rapid growth in the nearby orchard with trees thriving.

At a bank parlors meeting the Deming National Bank reorganized its leadership after the death of former president A. J. Clark. Harry H. Kelly becomes president, with C. L. Baker and A. W. Ford Car Wins Race at driving no accidents crowd watches

Hundreds gathered along the route between Deming and Silver City to see the Ford 224 driven by Pred Sherman win the 106.2 mile event in 2 hours 57 minutes 16 and a half seconds, breaking records. The Chalmers 30 placed second one minute five seconds behind.
