The Secretary reports thirty strangers registered at the Chamber rooms this past week with E H Bell from Kingman Kansas and John Robertson of Ocheyedan Iowa among new locators. States represented include Texas Tennessee Illinois Oklahoma New Mexico California Kansas New York Louisiana Arkansas Iowa and West Virginia. The Secretary notes stronger daily mail reflecting heavy fall business with two hundred nine inquiries nine of which required personal letters. Seventy six booklets mailed and six hundred fifty descriptive pieces sent to prospects.

Deming schools opened on Tuesday with an audience of parents and friends. Mayor Corbett spoke on the History of the Deming Schools and John C.
