Every Farmer Should Attend Meeting of Mimbres Valley Farmers

The Mimbres Valley Farmers Association invites all farmers to a 10 30 a m gathering next Saturday for vast business. Oil buying for the next year will be discussed along with a possible farmers marketing association and warehouse. Freight rates to outside markets, a cooperative creamery, and silo construction are also on the agenda.

Rate Hearings Draw Merchants to Intercity Sessions

Chairman Williams of the State Corporation Commission travels to Roswell for hearings before the Interstate Commerce Commission on the 17th and 18th, and to Albuquerque on the 20th and 21st. Justice J. C. Clements to preside. All Day Union Meeting at Presbyterian Church

A full day of missionary society events is planned for Tuesday November 18 at the Presbyterian Church. Activities include a 30 to 11 youth service led by Mrs Matthews a 11 to 12 2 Program by the Woman's Missionary Society led by Mrs Robinson a 12 to 1 30 lunch social hour a 1 30 to 2 00 Baptist Missionary Society led by Mrs Potts and a 2 30 to 3 90 Home and Foreign Work program of the Missionary Council led by Mrs W A McCreary. Foreign department representatives include five ladies. An offering is planned with song and remarks.

A Deming Chamber of Commerce officer recalls inquiries from cities and countries including London and Toronto about the Deming–Mimbres Valley. A London capitalist visited after publicity about the area’s climate, water, and soil. Officials tout Fort Bayard as the nation’s healthy Army sanitarium and claim Deming's water is exceptionally pure with minimal total solids.
