Officer R L McGuffin Dies From Heart Failure
R L McGuffin arrived on a train from Hot Springs last Sunday morning and died that afternoon from heart failure. Sheriff Smyer assisted, and Dr Swope treated him before he died. Funeral held Tuesday at Mountain View cemetery with Rev W E Foulks officiating. Survived by wife, two daughters Daisy and Mrs Young of Segundo, Colo, and a son John. McGuffin served for years on the local police force and as a peace officer in various roles.

Big Meeting of Wool Growers on March 21
A call has been issued for a meeting at the Alvarado hotel in Albuquerque on Monday March 21 for all wool growers bankers and others interested in saving the wool industry of New Mexico Colorado and Arizona from irreparable injury. A petition will be presented by John Halliday president Nations Wool Warehouse and Storage Chicago proposing Boaneing the 1920 clip and holding it in storage until the 1920 clip is out of the way. Mrs C H Lester Dies After Yearlong Illness
