William P. Tossell, a longtime Deming resident who arrived from Michigan in 1883, died at 12:50 AM after apoplexy. He leaves wife Mrs. Tossell and two sons Charles and C R Tossell. another son W F Tossell is in San Diego. Services were held at his home conducted by Rev H M Bruce and he is buried in the local cemetery. Col William F Cody, Buffalo Bill, is critically ill in Knoxville with mining interests in Arizona.
