Cavalry Camp July Plan For 1st Squadron Detachment
Troop C and Headquarters Detachment of the 1st Squadron 111th Cavalry plan a hike on July 28 with a camp about a mile and a half above Swarts. Autos will transport riders from Deming in three detachments starting after noon, at six, and at 8:30 Saturday evening. Meas sergeant Jeff Davis will supervise meal preparation to ensure menu quality and quantity. Parents and friends may join as guests, with arrangements to entertain them on Sunday to be announced later.
