Wallon B. Taylor a leading county goat rancher died at his Wemersey home from paralysis aged 40. Delaware Infantry Gets Unique wartime booklet
Frank E. Rich received from Col J Warner Reed a history of the Delaware Infantry now the 59th Pioneer Infantry. It covers the regiment’s recent war activities with a special section on the time with the 4th separate brigade. The booklet, printed on German paper, was produced in a French shop and bears foreign printer marks. Colonel Reed notes the regiment expected to sail from Brest on June 18.
