Lieut Herbert Bishop and sister Berv were injured in a trolley accident in San Francisco last week. Minor cuts and bruises, flames sprayed from a fuse, brakes failed, trolley toppled on a steep hill, scattering passengers. Bishop attended Deming High School and is kin to Mrs. Mary Hudson of Deming. family moved to Norfolk in 1917 where he enlisted. Other Deming natives, including Major J. D. Swope, are noted arrivals from France and returning servicemen from the 125th Artillery. Three companies of the 12th Cavalry moved from Columbus on furlough to exchange remount horses.
