Hanged in His Cell in Texas Jail
In Detatur Texas on April 2 the morning after 7 o'clock D H Kimes of Hoonaville county was found hanging in his cell. Jailer Bob Allison cut him down and he died shortly after. Kimes aged about 46 years had been separated for attempted murder and used towels and a handkerchief in the cell. Also noted are several unrelated accidents nearby including Hill Coffes injured by a horse and Ad Dillon wounded chopping wood.
