Ball Club Organized by Deming Fans
Deming baseball fans met at Leffler and Field on Friday night and formed a baseball organization for the coming season. J. H. Brown chaired the meeting with Pierce Hughes as secretary. Jim Hines was elected captain and N. B. Birch field assistant, while Hughes also serves as secretary and treasurer. A finance committee was appointed including George Leffler, Pierce Hughes, and Milt DePuy.
