The fifth Sunday meeting at Iola on March 29 and 31 drew 13 delegates with many skillful lecturers and sermons. Subjects included Soul Winning The New Birth Salvation By Grace and The Final Perseverance of the Saints. A $42 contribution was given to the mission fund and Rev. Gordon led the Sunday evening service on The Second Coming of Christ. The note thanks delegates and invites Rev. Alldredge for future meetings.

Mrs R A Fowler and children and Miss Ethel Spaulding visited the Noyes home Sunday. Miss Pearl Noyes works for Mrs Harvey Mougland. Mrs M C Smith visited her husband in the neighborhood. she made proof on her desert claim before leaving for New Orleans. A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Harvey Hoagland Sunday morning but died shortly after and was buried at Deming Monday. Ed Keyton considers moving his family to Deming. We bid farewell to many good people. Mr Tingle lost bed springs moving to town. Sunday school drew a large crowd. Easter preaching at Mountain View schoolhouse. all invited. Mountain View boys await summer for baseball. Florida boys less eager. If local teams want a game, announce it. Reporter: George R Zimmerman bought ten acres southeast of Deming from Foxworth Bush Co for 65 dollars per acre. Mrs Holt, sister of Mrs Frank Thurmond, returned to Detroit after visiting Deming. Jess Oliver of Hurley arrived for a two week visit. H G Bush sold his 30 M FF Chalmers to E C Wells of Deming. George Deemer and Miss Myrtle Beers wed Monday evening by Judge L L Browning.
