Former New Park Resident Dies in West Michigan
Mrs. Rupert J. Goudy age 39 of Alpena Michigan died Monday at University Hospital Ann Arbor after a lingering illness from complications. She formerly lived near New Park until 1920 and is survived by her husband and two children Donnie and June.

Southern York Cows Produce Fine Yield
The Southern York County Cow Testing Association report for August lists 22 herds tested, 360 cows in milk and 56 cows dry. Twelve cows yielded over 1200 pounds of milk, with 45 cows passing the 1000 pound mark and several over 50 pounds fat. The five highest herds include Lauxmont Farm and Cherry Grove Farm.
