Rocks Postmaster Dies After Long Illness at Rocks
John R. Ramsay a Rocks merchant post master and station agent for the Maryland and Pennsylvania died at 64 after a lengthy illness. He was brother to Rev H C Ramsay of Delta and is survived by his widow four children and three brothers. Interment was held in Highland Presbyterian cemetery with Rev W A Price officiating.

Bryansville Woman Dies After Clothing Fire Burns
Mrs. Retta Pew, 79, of near Bryansville, died at York’s West Side Sanitorium from severe burns received when her clothing caught fire while burning leaves in her yard. Helpers Lizzie Snyder and Mary Pomraning aided her until hospital transport. She died after midnight from third degree burns.

Robert L Williams 54 of Cardiff died Wednesday November 4 after a long illness. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 PM at the Methodist Protestant Church with Rev B F Ruley officiating. Surviving are his widow the former Corn Ylarman and three children Mrs Benjamin Amiog Minefield Md Ernest of York and Humphrey at home. He was born in Wales to William L Williams and Margaret Williams and worked in the local quarries for many years.
