Former Delta Lady Annie L. Naylor Dies in New York
Annie L. Naylor, formerly of Delta and longtime Cold Spring resident, died February 15 in Cold Spring New York at age 55. She was daughter of the late John J and Laura Judd born Bel Air Maryland married to James T Naylor in 1900 and survived by three brothers William Joseph Judd Baltimore and John Judd Delta. Funeral held Wednesday with burial in Cold Spring Cemetery.

Aged Woman Elizabeth Wesley Dies of Pneumonia
Mrs. Elizabeth Wesley widow of Stephen Wesley died Sunday night February 21 at the home of her son in law and daughter Mr and Mrs Frank Wilson Cardiff from pneumonia. She was 33. Survived by two daughters Mrs Wilson and Mrs Nelson Hitchcock of Fawn Grove a brother George Bulette of Whiteford a sister Mrs Margaret Reynolds of Baltimore four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Bull Gores Man Dog Saves Life on Farm
Jacob Montgomery aged five was gored by a bull at RB Orr’s farm while watering cattle. A dog stood between man and animal, enabling rescue. Montgomery suffered fractures and abrasions and is hopeful at York Hospital after emergency care by Dr. Wilkinson Cardiff.

Fire destroys bungalow near Whiteford and Prospect
The home of Gilbert Hughes between Whiteford and Prospect was destroyed by fire on Wednesday night. Firemen from the Delta Cardiff Fire Company fought the blaze but could not save the bungalow, formerly Rock Till Schoolhouse, bought by Hughes. The origin is unknown. A separate four flue fire at Harry Silver's Whiteford home drew brief attention Friday with no damage.

Professor Found Near Conowingo Dam
Fallon Catlin, 30, an instructor at John Kaptins University, was found near the Conowingo Dam wandering with a blank mind. He had been missing since February 2 from Baltimore and slept in the woods with frozen feet before being taken to Havre de Grace hospital.
