B P Mitzel a 63 year old Cardiff grocer was found unconscious in front of his store by Melvin Norris Friday at 7 45 am. He died at Dr W E Arthur's office. Cause uncertain: possible heart ailment or head injury from slipping on ice. No foul play suspected. Survived by widow Eva Jones Mitzel son Schall Mitzel Baltimore step daughter Flora Jones Baltimore brother William Mitzel Baltimore sisters Annie Anderson Michigan and Ida Hekbert Baltimore. Funeral services Monday at home officiated by Rev B W Jones and Rev W A Price. Interment Center Cemetery New Park. Masonic graveside rites conducted.

Bell Man Injured in Fall at Delta Trestle
Singleton of Delta sustained a serious leg bruise and a forehead cut requiring six stitches after a platform board broke at a trestle. He was brought to Delta for treatment by Dr. Arthur, with x rays showing no broken bones. He is a carpenter for the railroad company and was adjusting the trestle when the incident occurred.

William Fisher and family visited Mrs. William Fisher at Union Memorial Hospital Baltimore where she is improving. Miss Isabelle Hughes returned to Delta High after visiting York and Philadelphia friends. Mrs Fred Smith was admitted to a Baltimore hospital for observation. Mrs Dale Malone underwent an operation in York hospital and is reported in good condition. York visitors included Mary Duphorne Romaine Morris and Louise Findley. Mrs James Dodson returned home after eight weeks at Maryland General Hospital with a broken hip. Kenneth Jones and daughter Barbara Anne of Littlestown visited Mrs William Fisher. Clarence Thomas of Baltimore visited his mother Mrs Fanny Thomas who has been ill. Roger Barton Samuel and James Dinsmore traveled to State College on Wednesday. Paul Weier and family of Red Lion spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs John R add. Schall Mitzel and daughters Adelia and Jane returned to Baltimore after attending the funeral of his brother B Mitzel.
