Smokestack Topples At Woodbine Plant
The H. M. Ruff canning factory near Woodbine suffered about 1000 dollars in damage when a windstorm toppled a heavy smokestack onto the roof. Bricks pierced the tin roof, injuring machinery inside. Repairs began Monday under George F Malter of York. The plant has operated 25 years as part of Mr. Ruff’s varied businesses.
