Non-Support Charge Filed Against James McDonnough

James Allen McDonnough, 28, living with relatives in Delphi, was arrested by Sheriff Carey on a warrant from Sheboygan Wisconsin charging non support. Sheboygan County authorities will arrive today to extradite him back to Wisconsin.

Blocher Estate Will Probated In Carroll County Court

The last will and testament of Adam Blocher was probated in Carroll Circuit Court on Tuesday based on Wilbur Lane's testimony. The will assigns a life estate in a Camden residence to widow Ethel Deardorff Blocher with $100 yearly to her, and the remainder to nine children, Leonard Floyd Paul Joseph Blocher Rosa Scholl Clara Yost Edna Cutter Malinda Brown Cornelia Kuns. County raises quota for new swine barn at Purdue station

Carroll county has boosted its fund drive quota to 326 dollars for a Purdue Swine Evaluation Station. Donors include Union Bank and Trust Co. and Carroll County Farm Bureau Co op Assn. County Clerk Joe Tolen mailed general election absentee ballots to 40 applicants. Each voter receives four ballots covering county state and national questions plus a time zone referendum. Two Kokomo juveniles were apprehended in Burlington after throwing rocks through windows at the Butcher residence. They were sent home after paying for damages. A separate break-in at Carrollton school damaged the gym floor and left obscene drawings on boards. food was stolen earlier. Officers suspect juvenile involvement.

Mental Health Goal Exceeded County To Receive Citation

David R. Baum and B. Jesse Zook announce that the 1956 Mental Health drive in Carroll County raised 1943.54, surpassing the 1900 quota by 43.54. The county will receive a citation at the state Mental Health Association convention in Indianapolis Friday night. Baum and Zook, with their spouses, will attend the banquet at the Hotel Lincoln-Sheraton to receive the citation. Mrs. John T. Kirkpatrick, chairman, Mrs. Robert Shepard, and Jerre Haugh also plan to attend. Kirkpatrick will preside at a Saturday panel of volunteers at 10 a.m.
