One-Car Wreck Injures Delphi Youth Larry Farner
Larry Farner, 18, of Delphi sustained the loss of his right leg below the knee after a Sunday morning single-vehicle crash on US 421 eight miles north of Delphi. State police and Carroll County Sheriff report the car left the pavement, struck a marker sign, and Farner was thrown from the vehicle before hospitalization.

Youth Escape Injury In One-car Crash
James Robert Good, 17, of Idgville rural Route 1, four miles north of Delphi, drove left of center on Carrollton road. His car left the road, hit a telephone pole, tore down fence, and totaled the vehicle. Passengers Larry Hunt and Carl Geisler, both 17, were uninjured. Good was arrested for driving left of center, appeared in JP Lee Stones court, and fined $5 with $17 costs.
